At W.A.R.P. we are taking a hybrid approach for getting students to master the fundamentals of arithmetic and reading. Old-school proven methods such as in-person quizzes and exercises on the class board will be conducted weekly. Along with the in-person mentoring, students will be able to access a virtual classroom where homework questions can be reviewed with staff and new concepts introduced using the world renowned Khan Academy!
What is Khan Academy?

What is the Level System?
At WARP we believe that the fundamentals of arithmetic must be mastered by all students and this means no skipping ahead! A WARP student's math abilities will be assessed throughout the WARP semester with a variety of skills challenges. ONLY on successful completion of the respective level's skills challenges will a student be promoted to the next level. Our tutors will privately inform the student's math teacher and parents on what level the student is at and particular areas of study that can use more focus.
